In this article, we highlight the 50 most affordable accredited MSW programs in the East.
In the field of social work, those with an MSW degree have higher earnings potential and opportunities for advancement compared to those with an undergraduate degree in social work. When considering an MSW, it’s important to choose a program that’s accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Programs appearing in this ranking are required to have CSWE accreditation.
Using NCES College Navigator, we selected schools offering an MSW in New England, Mid-Atlantic, and southeastern states. We then checked the Council on Social Work Education’s directory and de-selected non-accredited programs.
